A Room With A View

A beautiful landscape just before the leaves turn and fall off to expose the harsh cold winter. Take a walk down the road through the village and back to the inn for a cup of tea and homemade blackberry scones. 6x8 oil on hardboard

This is a wonderful little landscape, Nancy. Looks like you used left over paint from your pumpkin piece. LOL

This looks different from any of your other work (at least what I've seen), maybe a different approach? Very nice brushwork.

Thank you misselly for your kind words. Marilyn, You are right I did have a lot of green mixed! lol If you go back to some of my old posts there are more of my landscapes. I am a plein air painter but lately my interests have taken me to other places. thank you for your wonderful comments. Rick, Thank you soooo much for your feedback, coming from an artist with your talent your compliments mean so much to me.

I love the way you painted it and the composition.

Thank you Joan Marie, I am glad you stopped by for a visit. Composition is something I enjoy as part of the process, something that is your very own.

There is great structure and at the same time lots of movement in this piece! To me it has a very abstract quality to it. Bravo!

Thanks so much Karin. I shouldn't complain so much about green!
