Zen

My entry for the Different Strokes challenge. I really enjoyed the process on this piece. I like the light effect. oil on linen 9x12.

You really captured that light! Also your buddha has much better posture than mine. lol These challenges have been fun (only my second) and they certainly are stretching me to paint subjects that I wouldn't normally explore. I'm glad to join you guys.
You must be feeling better. I've had that and it so weird and painful.

Hi Marilyn, You know I didn't notice the posture. I did notice my vase is crooked. lol There is always something in my paintings to critique when I am finished. That is what keeps me going though, trying to achieve the perfect painting, when I know there is no such thing. I love Karin's challenges, so fun. Thanks for asking, I am feeling better or maybe I am just trying to ignore it. Happy Holidays!
