Gorhams Greeks

I had the pleasure of painting with the Alabama Plein Air Painter's at Gorhams Bluff Alabama. This small oasis on top of a mountain in Jackson County Alabama is amazing. The architecture and community plan is simply beautiful. 8x10 oil on canvas board c2010

What a beautiful setting - you completely cpature the sunlight day and the architectural detail is sweetly simplified yet detailed enough so we get the southerness of the building. Just curious - what is it? A preserved landmark or hotel?

Thanlia, It is a wonderful planned community on top of a mountain here in al. These are 2 of the houses. Most of the houses are different types of architecture. Google Gorhams Bluff Al.
