Main Street By Nancy Rhodes Harper

I am on a painting marathon for the month of September ! I am trying to paint at least 3 small paintings a day as well as working on my larger pieces. This is the first of the paintings. How often do you see something like this little truck in today's world wouldn't it be fun to drive this around town? I captured this image on Main Street in Northport, Alabama. 6x8 oil on canvas board. © 2010 If interested in purchasing please contact Nancy Rhodes Harper

Great painting. Your figures are very Karin Jurick ;)
I have a whole file full of car photos waiting to be painted. I actually stop on the road and take pictures. You just have to do it. Now that they've lifted the size restrictions here I'll be able to post paintings that have been larger than 300kb. YAY!

I know, Mary I am glad about the size change. You could not have given me a better compliment than Karin Jurick. She is my hero, her inspiration got me started in daily painting. I love your work!
